He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Middle East Technical University in 2006, and held his master’s degree from Bilgi University Architectural Design Graduate Program in 2008. He had worked with Murat Tabanlıoğlu between 2008-2010 and with Mehmet Kütükçüoğlu and Ertuğ Uçar (TEGET) between 2011-2016. Currently, Velipaşaoğlu has been working on his own individual architectural office and has been an instructor at Izmir University of Economics.
DİDEM YAVUZ VELİPAŞAOĞLU
As a graduate of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University by the year 2006, she held her master’s degree from Architectural Design Program of Istanbul Bilgi University in 2008, as a full scholarship student. As a Fulbright Scholar, she received her PhD degree at the joint Urban Systems program at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University, and UMDNJ, in 2018. She had been at Rutgers as a guest lecturer in 2012 and worked for SAH online building collection of sah-archipedia.org, as a Research Assistant. Between 2010-2013, she worked with Rhett Russo in NYC based design studio and Gabrielle Esperdy (SAH Archipedia Editor). She has articles published in architectural magazines and her talks were held in conferences. Currently, Velipaşaoğlu has been working on her own individual architectural office and has been an instructor at Izmir University of Economics.
